Keeley & Chase

I was lucky enough to be invited by some wonderful fellow female photographers to be involved in a maternity for a gorgeous young couple – Keeley and Chase. Keeley’s mum Ali also came  along and we managed to get her in a few shots as well.

We headed south a little bit to Redhead for a sunset shoot, we weren’t sure at first that the sunset was going to play, but at the last minute we got some nice colour to play with.

Keeley and Chase were just gorgeous and so wonderful to work with.

Here are a few pictures from the shoot and the full set is available here.

Brides in the Studio

I was asked to help shoot some bridal shots for two hair and make-up artists so that they could have a portfolio of their work to show potential customers.

Working under studio lights is something that i have only done a few times and each time i come away having learnt something new and feeling more confident.

Some of the shots from the day:

Beach Surf Shoot

Models and people are definitely not the usual thing for me to shoot. A couple of my gal pal shooters had organised a shoot with some models for a surf themed model shoot at the beach. Always looking to expand my skills and knowledge i was more than happy to tag along to watch and learn from the more experienced shooters. At the end of the shoot i was reasonably happy that i had bagged a few decent shots for the girls.

High Tea 80th

Today we headed out to the Historic Tomago House for High Tea and 80th birthday party for a friends mum. Tomago House in its hay days (back around the mid to late 1800’s) was part of a much larger agricultural estate built by barrister Richard Windeyer. The home is built of gorgeous sandstone and even today one can see how the “other half” lived even back in the 1800’s. What was i imagine the family/estate chapel remains on the property to this day.

With the smell of scones wafting through and hot coffee and tea being served with family filling the function room, this was an 80th celebrated in a very fitting manner.
