Today we visited a cheetah farm, i’m not so into zoo’s but this one is a little bit different.

The Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre is situated in the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountain range (near Brits and the Hartbeespoort Dam) in the North West 

It was established in 1971, as a cheetah conservation project. The centre has continued to perform an important role in the preservation and protection of cheetahs and has bred over eight hundred cheetah cubs .

Subsequent to its cheetah breeding programme, the centre also established successful breeding programmes for several other rare and endangered species, including:
