26 Oct – Prague

A very lazy day, I am not feeling the best and have sought assistance from the very friendly and helpful hostel staff to get some medicine from the chemist to fix my ailing stomach.

Having acquired the required drugs and hung the washing up Chinese laundry style across the room.

We then headed into town to watch Jesus and his disciplines lead a pageant that includes the allegorical figures of Death, the Turk, the Miser, the Fool and the Rooster which all occur on the 14th century Town Hall complex which features a tower with an astronomical clock added in the 15th century.

From here we took the church walk working our back towards Wenceslas sq. past 3 or 4 churches. Along the way we found a cute little café that served the best chocolate milkshake, with a twist – Baileys (and real cream) mmm yum.

We wandered a little more headed back to the hostel, I had a nap then we went to a little bar/café/restaurant – “Jama” for dinner which was really nice and we sampled some new beers – Rezane and Velkopopovick.
