Today we are heading out to jasper alberta on an overnight bus so we had a sleep in did some washing and packed our bags and headed down to Stanley Park. We walked around the harbour and then jumped on board the free shuttle that goes round the park (round trip is about half an hour). Its a huge park just off the city area with a swimming pool great views and excellent walking/cycle tracks. Along the way we saw Racoon and our first black squirell – how cute.
We headed back to the hostel and off to the Greyhound depot and boarded our bus for jasper.
An uneventful trip ended with an early morning – half six – arrival in a very chilly Jasper to what can only be described as picture postcard surroundings and a very empty main street.
With a lift from the taxi man we landed at hostel and a nice hosteller let us in from the cold whilst we waited for reception to open.
